Finally, a useful Mantra and one that is going to be my one in 2019 is...LET THAT SHIT GO! Sorry to swear, I couldn't think of another word. Let go of negativity, worry or stress over stuff that hasn't happened, or that you have no control over...focus on the good stuff and attract positive stuff instead!
Hope you've had the best Summer enjoying all it has to offer! I certainly have and though my Classes and Clients keep me fit and I live a relatively healthy lifestyle, I have enjoyed myself too and now I want to cease some of the habits that aren't serving me or my body.
I want to strip a little fat, create a little more definition, re-populate my gut with good bacteria, get the glow back in my skin and feel strong in heart and mind, be more resilient to daily stress, balance my hormones and cultivate more positivity in my life!
Lots of things you might say! It's a good job that everything is interconnected and focusing on a few key areas will address all of the above and more.

STAY HYDRATED...IT'S HOT, YOUR OUT OF ROUTINE AND YOU MIGHT BE HAVING THE ODD HOLIDAY TIPPLE...LESSEN YOUR HANGOVER, GIVE YOUR SKIN THAT HOLIDAY GLOW AND FEEL ENERGISED BY KEEPING YOUR WATER INTAKE UP
BE ACTIVE...YES I KNOW HOLIDAYS ARE ABOUT RELAXING BUT DOING SOMETHING ACTIVE EVERYDAY OF HOLIDAY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL VIRTUOUS AND AMAZING AND IT WILL COUNTERACT ANY OVER-EATING! TRY A WATER SPORT, GO FOR A BEACH RUN OR A SNORKEL, OR SWIM A FEW LENGTHS OF THE POOL.
TREAT YOURSELF 80/20 RULE...ENJOY TREATING YOURSELF BUT TRY NOT TO DO IT EVERY DAY! STICK TO THE 80/20 RULE, 80% OF THE TIME EATING WELL AND 20% EATING A TREAT!
KEEP OR START A MINDFUL PRACTICE...HOPEFULLY YOU WILL HAVE A LITTLE 'ME TIME' ON HOLIDAY SO WHY NOT DEVOTE 5/10 MINUTES TO STARTING OR CONTINUING A MINDFUL PRACTICE, A MEDITATION, MAKING AND SAYING PERSONALISED AFFIRMATIONS, WALKING MINDFULLY ALONG THE BEACH OR SIMPLY PRACTICING THE ART OF BEING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT!
Finally, though it's tempting to post your holiday moments and use your phone abroad...don't over do it...HAVE A DIGITAL DETOX DAILY TOO!
